Cute and Tough
The Japanese Tree Frog has a typical appearance with large and round eyes, sucker fingers and a small body that similar to the image Japanese people have of frogs. They don't have any negative physical characteristics, so they have been used as models for various characters in Japan.
Contrary to its appearance, they have drought tolerant and can survive even with little water, so they are often found in urban areas.
Black band-like pattern that runs form its nose to its eyes and eardrums is the characteristic of Japanese Tree Frog.
