Nazuna | Shepherd's Purse

Shepherd's purse, which blooms small white flowers on roadsides and vacant lots in spring, is one of the seven spring herbs of Japan. It is also called Penpengusa or Shamisengusa because the triangular fruit that out from the stem resembles a shamisen drumstick.
The way its slender body sways in the wind is very sweet.
